Project Sunkalp | Camp KVT-MDTK-063 | 16.09.2026
Taking a few minutes for a health screening today can be an important step towards protecting your health tomorrow. ❤️
As part of Project Sunkalp, a cancer screening camp was conducted at Devathur E-Sevai Center, Madurantakam, bringing preventive healthcare and cancer screening services closer to the local community.
A total of 51 beneficiaries came forward for screening, including 16 men and 35 women.
The camp provided:
• 27 iBreast Examinations
• 51 Oral Examinations
Cancer may not always show noticeable warning signs in its early stages. Regular screening can help identify suspicious changes early and encourage timely medical consultation and follow-up.
For many communities, accessing specialised healthcare can be challenging due to distance, cost, time, or limited awareness. Project Sunkalp works to bridge this gap by bringing cancer screening services closer to people through community-based camps and local healthcare facilities.
Every person who comes forward for screening is taking a proactive step towards understanding and protecting their health. These camps also provide an opportunity to spread awareness among families about prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, early detection, and the importance of timely medical attention.
Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to work with local communities, PHCs, healthcare professionals, and CSR partners to expand access to cancer screening across Madurantakam.
Early detection can make a difference. Let’s make regular screening a part of our preventive healthcare routine.
Kalpavriksham Trust is registered under 12AB, 80G, and CSR-1 (MCA) and is listed on NGO Darpan, with transparent camp-wise impact reporting for CSR partnerships.
